Uncle Joe's visit

My boss's boss's boss visited us yesterday and today. Beside group meeting and open forum we had a bowling session and a very nice dinner at 32 mansion with. My group was the first runner up for the bowling competition. After such a long time I still able to score 108 and 140 for the first 2 games. But for the third game which to determine the champion our group score drop like .............. I only manage to score 98 :P I enjoyed my self very much at the game.
Uncle's Joe visit had in a way boost the team moral after all the hard time and bad encounters that we had with "老细". I am still feeling like "汪洋中的一条废柴" and still no ideas on how to get my self out of it. I guess what i can do now is take a step at a time "一步一脚印".

First Swim

On June 6th, 2009 after Timothy woke up from his afternoon nap at around 4pm we brought him to CW Jie Jie place for his first ever swim. He was very excited with the view at CW Jie Jie apartment balcony at 5th floor which had a view of the guard house. I guess he really enjoy the site of cars going in and out of the apartment.
At around 5.30pm we brought him down to the pool side. He is okay playing at the entry to the pool where there is just water flowing down to both site of the swimming pool. When i tried to bring him deeper into the pool he started to yell for mama and papa and cling on to me like a koala bear.
Timothy basically enjoy playing in the pool and playing with water but just that he is still very cautious about floating on him own and cling on to me most of the time. We will need to bring him to the pool more often so that he can built up the scence of security and confident level :P
Looking forward to more pool time with Timothy :D

家

On May 17th 2009 with cheque no 434652 I make payment for the deposit of our first ever house. Will put in my 101% effort to turn it into our home sweet home.

鞋之风波

原本以为已被人偷的Crocs鞋，失而复得。照常理我应该非常的开心，感到幸运但我却非常的心疼，痛心。因为妹妹送我的Crocs鞋已经被野狗咬得遍体麟伤，我看了心真的很疼， 又无人可怪 。。。。。 哎 。。。。
事情的开始就从maid打家里时，好心做坏事的将我放在客厅的sports shoes 和 Crocs鞋放到屋外的鞋架。 我家因没钱所以走open concept路线，没有gate的。谁人及狗都可轻易的光临。我的Crocs右鞋就这样被路狗甲咬走了。路狗甲玩厌了我的Crocs右鞋就把它丢弃在MIL家附近。MIL以为我不要这鞋了，就索幸把Crocs左鞋也拿走了。把我的Crocs鞋当slipper般的在家里“粗穿“，我的天呀！！！！幸好BIL得知我疑失了鞋后在MIL家里看到了我的鞋，把它带回家了。要不然，我真的难以想像若是我亲眼看到我的Crocs鞋在MIL家里，我会怎样爆发。
我也因为此事与DH吵的很狠。我一爆发就又开始怨恨那间家。DH就会很自然的维护那间他最爱的家。我们就因此吵得天翻地伏，没完没了。
DH为了维护他的爱家，也为了安抚我， 就带我到QB买回一双Crocs给我。但不够狠心的我到了最后关头尽然买了iPanema 的sandals. 一双Crocs是足以购买三双iPanema还有balance。我也为baby Tim 买了一双的iPanema baby sandals，超可爱的。
希望这场鞋之风波就到此为止。

A rare gift from DH

DH is someone who is very realistic and thus flower is something which I don't get to be pampered with.
Last wednesday DH was back from KL and Cameron Highland for a business trip and due to that I received flowers after ............ If I recall correctly the last time I received flowers from DH is during our wedding which is 3 years back in 2007.
Lucky me :P

Car Seat

After endless rounds of heated argument and debating finally DH agreed to get baby Tim a forward facing car seat. On Feb 18th since both me and DH reached home early after work we decided to head to GP to get a car seat from Mother Care.

Initailly we plan to get Maxi Cosi for Mothercare Priori SPS or Mothercare Motion. We ended up getting baby Tim Mothercare Express which baby Tim loves to sit in it now :) I am worried that baby Tim will not like to be bounded to the car seat as the first rear facing car seat from anakku is a total failure.

At first he hesitated and cried for about 20 minutes when we strap him to the car seat for the first time. After that he seems to get the message that no matter how he struggle and cried the car seat is where he will be if we are travelling. Now he simply loves to car seat, whenever I open the car door for him he will quickly get him self into the seat and waiting there for me to buckle him. He falls asleep very easily in the seat if we travel a distance.

Behold the car seat that change our travel experience with baby Tim forever. Lets keep our finger cross and hope that things will be as it is with the car seat.

First step .....

A day before Chinese New Year on 25 Jan 2009 , Baby Tim stand on his own and also took his first step for the first time. I feel so grateful and proud. Start to walk at the age of 15 months is not consider to be fast nor too slow for a baby. For me as a mom as long as he start to walk that is sufficient enough for me to feel happy and glad.
As of today Feb 11 2009, Baby Tim is able to walk on his own for a short distance with his 2 hands open up as an act to balance him self. It's really very funny and warm to be able to witness your baby wobbling while trying to walk on his own.

2009 .... here i come

I'm always a bit late in setting my new year resolution :P

Looking back at 2008 resolution, I have basically completed all. Big clap to my self... well done to me .. BRAVO !!!!

But no worries late is better than never. Well here goes my resolution for 2009

1. Firm up and slim down my flabby arm

2. Save 10k by end of 2009 for my new car down payment

3. Get my self pregnant with my 2nd baby (try my best but this is all up to faith)

4. No more hunch back.

Watch out 2009 .... Here I come ..... 冲啊 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Get well soon .....

Baby Tim has been sick for close to 10 days now. It started with fever and sore throat and now cough and phlegm. He has loss weight as he is now only taking milk and no solid food. He also often vomited after taking milk if he happen to cough right after milk intake.
Son Son can you please get well soon .... mommy is worried sick
I felt so helpless as seeing son son condition but i can't really do much to make things better beside taking good care of him.
