My first NIKE

Today I got my first pair of nike shoes. I bought it from zappos.com for USD 98 and ask a colleague who was on a business trip to Oregan to brought it back for me. Thanks her a lot :)
I like the shoes a lot but it is costly :P This is the most expensive shoes that I have bought so far. I am actually crazy for shoes but too bad I don't have the budget to buy lots of them :P

Happy FIRST birthday

10-Oct-2008, a year ago from this date a baby boy was force out of the mother's womb 6 weeks earlier from the expected delivery date.

He was born tiny at only 1.95kg and had to be put inside the incubator because he can't really breath that well. He also had a hard time learning up how to suck milk.

Timothy, mommy am sorry to have given you a bad starting point. Eventhough till today you are still small size compare to average.

May GOD bless you with health and laughter for the coming years in your life.
Always remember that Mommy Love you so much :)

Height =75cm

Adaptability

Times flies ....
I have been working in "I" for 3 months already. I always made a statement that "I" is not the place for me as the culture there is totally not my style. This is proven when I attended a soft skills class to which it help individuals understand their styles and that of their team mates. From the survey questions one will get to know their Adapted Style and also Natural Style approach. Those who is having a different which is more than 35 between the 2 style is said to be under "EXTREME" pressure which is unhealthy. I am one of those who is under extreme pressure :P
In order to be able to survive in "I" i unconsciously change my personality but i view it from a positive angle as I am "Changing for the good" :)

Mind the GAP

Lately the gap between me and hubby is getting bigger and bigger. Maybe I should rephrase .... the different between us is poping out more and more. We are actually 2 person with veryX5 different personality. Our expectation and goals for life is like heaven and earth.
Things is getting worst lately after we had baby Tim. The way I plan to bring up my son is no wear close to what he have in mind. I believe that kids should be brought up with extra care and shower with lots lots of attention and love. But he think there is no need to go until that extend, just care for him like normal and he will grow up as well. He is someone who had experience studying and living in foreign land. How can he still have those "kolot" thinking of a china "apek" on how to take care of children.
Baby Tim is now taken care by my mom during my working hour. My mom is the person who i trust that will be able to take good care of my baby boy both physically and mentally. He is not happy about it as he wanted his mother to take care of baby tim instead. That will never happen as i don't agree with the ways MIL take care of baby, as like mother like son, MIL also having the same "cin cai" attitude when taking care of baby. We do bring baby tim back to MIL place during weekend for visit but hubby is still not happy as he said why can't i have enough trust towards MIL to leave baby tim with her 1 or 2 days. It's not that I bias towards my mom but just that we are having different standard and expectation.
Can't foresee any solutions for this issue in the near future. Haih ...... just leave it as it is for now. See how things goes from here ....
End of the sad part, now it's time for happy news. I have realize one of my resolution for 2008. I am now back for good to home sweet home. Now I get to see Baby Tim everyday ...yippie :)

New Year’s Resolution

Time flies … the first month of 2008 is already half gone. Even though it’s a bit late I guess I should also have a new year’s resolution. This year is going to be a tuff year for me as I’m still here while baby Tim (who I miss dearly) and the rest of the family are still back in hometown. Here goes…

1) Must decide whether will remain here or will go back to hometown. The main goal is to stay close to baby Tim :) If possible I don’t wanna miss out a single day of him growing up. Really hope that I will be able to settle down ASAP and no need to travel so often back to home town as it’s really tiring :(
2) Wanna shed of those extra pounds I have gain during pregnancy so that I can fit back to my nice nice Levi’s jeans and also those mini “T” :)

I’m simple who only wish for a simple life. So there will only be 2 resolution for me this year. Hopefully I will be able to achieve it.
Gambateh !!!

Timothy

Timothy -- 峻湶 came to us on October 12, 2007 at 1.22pm.
He came as a surprise as we wasn't expecting him for another 6 weeks.
It was just a regular check up but ended up being diagnose with pre-eclampsia and having a BP of 180/110. The BP was way to high and I was scheduled to have a c-section later in the afternoon once the gynae can bring the BP down to 130/90 with the help of medication eventhough Xiao B is still premature. If i were to get seizures then it would have been bad for both of us.
Luckily we are bless and eveything turn out to be fine. Xiao B is able to breath on his own even though he is having difficulty to be feed from the bottle and had to be feed by using a tube instead. Both of us stay in the hospital for about a week. I was allowed to go home when my BP went down to about 120/90. Xiao B came back 2 days after.
It has been 3 mths since and thank GOD that everthing is in good hand now.
